In a country known for its beauty, scale, and demanding terrain, Vtec Trailers identified a clear need: trailers that are not only well-built, but strong enough to work every day under real African conditions.
Established in 2001 and headquartered in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, Vtec Trailers has grown into a respected national and international trailer manufacturer under the leadership of founder and CEO Tobie Venter. Today, our trailers are trusted by individuals, businesses, farmers, and fleet operators across South Africa and beyond.

With a range of over 60 trailer models, Vtec Trailers caters for everything from everyday utility use to heavy-duty commercial and farming applications. Our trailers are seen on roads from the Cape to Cairo, and across borders into countries such as Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, and Namibia — proof of their durability in some of the toughest environments.
We don’t believe in mass production at the cost of quality. Instead, our trailers are hand-built, allowing for greater attention to detail, superior strength, and consistent quality control. Every trailer that leaves our factory represents the pride and workmanship of our team.

In September 2025, Vtec Trailers proudly celebrated 24 years of manufacturing excellence. Over this time, we have expanded to a growing network of more than 40 agents across South Africa, making it easy for customers to access trailers, spare parts, and support nationwide.
